A little bit about me

I’m Nicki and I have been working in the human resources space for almost 20 years. I am passionate about HR and the impact that having the right people in the right jobs, contributing towards business strategy, can have on the success of an organisation.

I would describe myself as a relatable, influential and commercially minded executive level HR professional. I bring a forward-thinking, pragmatic approach that evenly balances fairness and consistency with the delivery of business objectives.

A recent executive profile describes me as ‘a creative, subtly rebellious individual who takes pride in developing new approaches and this, combined with her naturally positive attitude makes her an engaging leader. She is interested in the welfare of others and doing the right thing by the teams around her, which inspires trust in those she works with’. I think this sums me up nicely!

I thrive on building relationships and adding value to a business so I would love the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your people requirements.

News flash! I’m also a real human too and outside of work you can usually find me on the terraces of Cheltenham Town Football Club, singing at weddings as part of an acoustic duo or running an open mic night at my local pub!

What can I do for you?

I can work with you on either a retainer or project basis

Retainers

Sometimes, for peace of mind, it’s just good to know that you have an expert on hand to help. If you don’t have a HR resource or have higher level queries, my retainer packages mean I am on hand to offer support through any operational HR issues. These are based on a number of days support per month. Typical packages range from 0.5 to 5 days per month.

Projects

I can also work with you on a project basis to provide you with strategy, advice and ultimately, peace of mind. If you have a need that isn’t discussed on my website that doesn’t mean I don’t cover it. Please feel free to drop me a call, an email or fill in the contact form and I will be in touch to arrange an initial meeting to talk through your specific requirements. I will then be able to provide you with a tailored quote based solely on your needs.
